Just when it seemed like the flood of gaming news might finally slow down, PlayStation made sure the momentum was rolling with a fresh State of Play showcase. The showcase was packed with reveals and updates, adding to the anticipation for what’s ahead on PS5. With major titles like Marvel’s Wolverine, fans had plenty to be excited about. Here’s a rundown of everything that was revealed.

 

SAROS  

Housemarque revealed a deeper look at Sarosi, highlighting its world, combat, and gameplay mechanics. The wait won’t be too long either–Saros arrives on PS5 on March 20, 2026.

 

Zero Parades – For Dead Spies  

The first gameplay for Zero Parades - For Dead Spies was unveiled, a narrative-driven espionage RPG from ZA/UM, the studio behind Disco Elysium. Players will take on Hershel, a talented but unlucky operative in a world where trust is fleeting, betrayal is constant, and failure is inevitable.

 

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 lands on PS5 this December 8. Embark on an aviation career with dynamic missions, compete with other pilots, and experience the most detailed digital recreation of the world yet.Choose from a vast fleet of aircraft for your global journey, and look forward to full PS VR2 support arriving in 2026 as a free update.

 

Battlefield 6

Take on the role of Dagger 13 in Battlefield 6’s globe-spanning single-player campaign. This elite Marine Raiders squad is tasked with stopping Pax Armata, a private military corporation bent on reshaping global power as the world stands on the brink of chaos. Seamlessly switch between squad members and issue commands to your team in this high-stakes military thriller.

 

Deus Ex Remastered

Aspyr is giving the original cyberpunk immersive sim a full remaster, teaming up with Eidos Montreal to bring Deus Ex to PS5. The game modernizes its control scheme with influences from Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, the remaster updates the control scheme while overhauling the visuals with improved lighting, dynamic shadows, redesigned character models, and more. The remaster is set to launch on PS5 on February 5, 2026.

 

Halloween: The Game

Halloween arrives early on PS5 next year, as IIIFonic brings the legendary horror franchise and the eerie town of Haddonfield to life on September 8, 2026. Experience a standalone single-player story or dive into thrilling asymmetrical multiplayer, where you can stalk the infamous Michael Myers or fight back as a resident determined to end his night of horror.

 

Last Epoch Orobyss

Embark on an adventure through the world of Eterra in Lost Epoch, journeying across different eras of its history alone or with up to three allies in online co-op. Newly announced for PS5, the game will launch alongside its first major expansion, Last Epoch: Oryboss, offering deep skill customization, a rewarding loot system, and access to all past seasonal content.

 

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Mega Man is leaving the platforming stage behind to speed alongside Sonic and friends in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! He won’t be racing alone either–Proto Man is also joining the lineup, and racers will also get to blaze through a reimagined track based on Dr. Wily’s Castle from Mega Man 2. The Mega Man DLC pack arrives in early 2026 as part of the Season Pass Digital Deluxe Edition.

 

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Dive into the world of the legendary Japanese manga and anime series when The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin arrives on PS5 on January 28 next year. Along with the release date reveal, today’s State of Play showcased fresh gameplay from the free-to-play open-world RPG, which can be played solo or with others online.

 

Nioh 3

Koei Tecmo took the stage at today’s State of Play to showcase a new look at its upcoming action RPG Nioh 3, highlighting key characters and its stunning combat. The showcase also confirmed a release date: February 6, 2026, exclusively on PS5.

 

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered

The original Dynasty Warriors 3 on PS2 introduced many of the franchise’s signature features, such as two-player co-op and the officer development system. On March 19 next year, it will return on PS5 as Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 and packed with improvements.

 

Code Vein II

Launching on January 30, 2026, Code Vein II was spotlighted at State of Play with a new gameplay reveal alongside its release date announcement. The latest trailer offered a deeper look at the action RPG sequel, where players will journey through a future world where humans and vampires coexist, teaming up with allies to take on intense battles against formidable vampires.

 

Let it Die: Inferno

Coming to PS5 on December 3, this roguelite survival action game puts players in the role of an immortal explorer known as a Raider–an immortal explorer delving into the depths of Hell. Along the way, they’ll face not only grotesque creatures of Hell Gate but also encounters with other players, testing their survival skills against both. Mastery of unique weapons and special abilities–used in clever combinations–will be the key to your success. 

 

Chronoscript: The Endless End

From DeskWorks Inc., the creators behind RPG Time! The Legend of Wright, and Shueisha Games comes with Chronoscript: The Endless End, a 2D exploration-based-action adventure for PS5. Chronoscript: The Endless End puts you in the role of an editor trapped inside a manuscript, tasked with unraveling a thousand-year tale that continues to write itself beyond its conclusion-spread across 2D pages and a haunting 3D manor.

 

Crimson Desert

Set out on an open-world action-adventure when Crimson Desert launches on PS5 on March 19 next year. Alongside the release date reveal, Pearl Abyss shared a new trailer showcasing the story and events that will drive your journey across the expansive continent of Pywel.

 

PlayStation Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers

Today’s State of Play also brought hardware news: the PlayStation Pulse Elevate Wireless speakers. Built for desktop use, they offer the full PlayStation audio and chat experience, with planar magnetic drivers, multi-device connectivity, and PlayStation Link wireless technology.

 

God of War 20th Anniversary Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of God of War with a special limited edition Dualsense controller. Launching this October, it features a design inspired by Kratos, inspired by the Ghost of Sparta’s iconic ashen skin and crimson tattoo. Pre-orders begin October 3.

 

Gran Turismo 7 - SPEC III Announcement

At State of Play, Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi announced a huge milestone: as of June 2025, the series has surpassed 100 million units sold worldwide. To celebrate, GT7 will receive its biggest update yet-the Spec III Update-arriving this December. The update adds new features and content, including two F1 race circuits, eight vehicles, circuit experience, a data logger, and more.

 

Wolverine

And last but not the least, Marvel’s Wolverine is slated to release on PlayStation 5 in Fall 2026, with Insomniac Games and Marvel Games teaming up to deliver a fresh take on the iconic hero. The first gameplay trailer showcases the studio’s approach to delivering the ultimate Wolverine experience, blending swift and savage combat, high-energy action sequences, and gripping narrative that captures the essence of one of Marvel’s most iconic characters.
